Our Kids Art Classes
-
Across a 4-class plan (90 minutes each), children explore colour, sculpture, and mixed-media creativity through playful, age-appropriate projects inspired by world-renowned artists.
Every session blends hands-on making with guided discovery — from experimenting with endless colour combinations in paint, collage, printmaking, and mixed media, to building imaginative sculptures that explore balance, movement, scale, and storytelling.
Along the way, children naturally develop fine motor skills, creativity, and problem-solving as they explore black & white, monochrome, primary and secondary colours, shapes, composition, and the basics of how art works.
Light introductions to art and colour theory (contrast, mood, structure, mixing) are woven into fun activities, never formal teaching.
We connect art to the wider world through inspirations like Picasso, Matisse, Rothko, Mondrian, Kandinsky, Calder, Jansen, Dalí, Oppenheim, Koons, Oldenburg, Whiteread, and Gormley — showing children how creativity shapes culture, history, and emotion.
Every project is designed to feel joyful, experimental, expressive, and knowledge-building all at once.
-
Through guided activities and creative projects, children will have the chance to build:
Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving – experimenting, testing, and developing ideas
Confidence & Resilience – learning that mistakes are part of the process
Collaboration & Communication – working together, sharing ideas, and developing empathy
Curiosity & Imagination – asking bold, creative questions
Future-Ready Skills – early exposure to design thinking, coding concepts, and innovation
These sessions offer a meaningful after-school activity where children can form friendships, explore creativity, and grow in a supportive, encouraging setting.

Classes focus on open-ended, process-based art — exploring colours, textures, materials, and mark-making without pressure for perfect results. Children experiment, play, and follow their own creative ideas.
We also include gentle theory and activities that support fine motor skills, visual thinking, emotional expression, confidence, and problem-solving — all through fun, hands-on making. -
